A true gem box, Maison Verhoeven has existed in Dunkirk since 1908, founded at 12, rue de l'Eglise by two brothers, Maxime and Anthony Verhoeven. One specialized in jewelry, the other in watchmaking. After the Great War, Anthony remained in Dunkirk and represented major watchmaking brands, while Maxime, with his strong relationships, settled in Paris, rue Aubert, to welcome an international clientele.
